I'm still staying busy with SAP R/3 consulting in North America and Europe. I never imagined that I would be consulting this long. I still love the work and still have trouble with the travel. If you don't have any idea what SAP software is, try this joke for now. I hope to add a more complete explanation of SAP software soon.
I have over 25 years of business experience in manufacturing. I started configuring in SAP R/3 software in release 2.1F in 1994 and am currently working in release ECC 5.0. I started my SAP experience in the PP (Production Planning) and the MM (Materials Management) modules. If you check my SAP Experience page, you will see that I've been involved in almost every part of R/3 's PP and MM modules except for variant configuration. I've also implemented PLM - Product Lifecycle Management (or PDM - Product Data Management or what ever SAP is calling it now) and linked 3D CAD neutral models from the material master to the built-in viewer of 4.6. I have worked on long projects, ASAP projects, post go-live rescue projects and even a 90 day implementation (CO, FI, SD, PP, MM, and WM). My clients have ranged from absolutely dreams (business processes firmed and documented before consultants started) to horrible nightmares (every week another chapter in my book on how NOT to implement SAP). Hopefully, you won't be able to tell which clients fall into the later category when you look at my client page.
If you are considering implementing SAP software, check with Blue Palm Consulting for my availability.
